About Us

We moved to France from Sussex in August 2022. We knew the house was what we wanted almost as soon as we saw it. It had everything we were looking for and after viewing loads we doubted it existed, but we found her!!

We are now on a quest to restore her to her former glory and give her some creature comforts but keep plenty of her charm. We both enjoy renovating and restoring old things and old houses. The house was built in 1850 and had been in the same family for over 60 years.

We live here with our 2 dogs Poppy and Guy, and 10 chickens that are also considered pets and have been named. 3 of the chickens "or girls" are rescues and they are now spending their retirement in Cluckingham Palace.
